To all potential Senior Support Workers out there...Peter will be moving to his own home and is on a journey to a more autonomous and independent life. Peter is not someone who wants to be a bystander in his own life, he wants to be the leader of his life. Peter does need some support to make sure this happens, so will need a team who he can trust and who trusts him back, and a team who sees opportunities over barriers.
Date Applications Close: 25/09/2025
Contract hours: Full time
Reference: LG/MC
Peter is also autistic and likes a lot of routine and structure in his day, so a consistent approach is needed from his team. Peter is someone who wants to try new things. He is keen to be more involved in the everyday things like cooking, baking, looking after his home and socialising with others. Peter enjoys going for trips and making the decision of where to go and what he will do. Peter also likes singing, swimming, spending time on the computer, watching DVD's, Tots TV and the Tweenies (I bet those theme tunes have popped into your head now!)
